It's one of my favorite Bond films of all time. Very good performances from Pierce Brosnan and Sean Bean with Judi Dench and Robbie Coltrane shining in minor roles. Izabella Scorupco and Famke Janssen shined as the two Bond girls. Martin Campbell knocked it out of the park with the action sequences being so visceral. A lot of fans don't like Éric Serra's instrumental score, and the producers even had to bring John Altman to re-score the St. Petersburg tank chase scene. Personally, I don't mind Serra's score too much, although it does pale in comparison to John Barry's scores.
