That is likely true, at least not physically. There are 414,000 priests in the world. If 50,000 of them harm children, that leaves 364,000 that don't. The problem is that the Catholic Churches are being much too forgiving of the 50,000 that do and are known to actively hide them from justice. CURRENTLY there are 414,000 priests in the world. As with the cases where parents have sexually abused children, the cases of priests sexually abusing children didn't all happen at the same time, but, different times throughout the past several decades. Some going back as maybe as far as the 20s or 30s. In all likelihood, there were far more than just 414,000 priests back then. I realize that. That is also only the ones we know about. The issue has much more to do with the church moving them around to different locations instead or you know, trying to stop them from molesting children.
