CURRENTLY there are 414,000 priests in the world. As with the cases where parents have sexually abused children, the cases of priests sexually abusing children didn't all happen at the same time, but, different times throughout the past several decades. Some going back as maybe as far as the 20s or 30s. In all likelihood, there were far more than just 414,000 priests back then. I realize that. That is also only the ones we know about. The issue has much more to do with the church moving them around to different locations instead or you know, trying to stop them from molesting children. Yes, I am aware of that too. That is also one of the reasons why there were so many thousands of victims.
