Some other cool trivia -
She was at the time Terlesky's ex-girlfriend, while lead actress Monique Gabrielle was his then-current one. It doesn't seem to have affected them though. Gabrielle stated this her favourite movie she starred in, Toni Naples said they all had fun making it. Naples even duels with Terlesky for real, no stunt doubles. Terlesky actually doubles also, as a hooded guard John La Zar is training against and kills - mainly because Terlesky was the only one on set that day who could handle a sword for the scene.
I've seen two different versions of this. One has scenes padded with footage from the first film. The other trims it back a fair bit, cuts out a catty confrontation between Gabrielle and Naples (removing a continuity gaffe), and re-edits dialogue between Terlesky and Gabrielle about his opinions of princesses.
hmm, I may have to do some investigation, I have a Roger Corman sword and sorcery boxed set, but not 100% sure which version it is, from what you describe it sounds like the latter.
The latter version I felt was a better version. The padding in the other one is a little too obvious and distracting. There's a scene completely cut out of a guy being dragged by a horse that's meant to be the guy "fed" to evil Monique, but it's clearly not the same actor (and the dragging scene has music lifted directly from Chopping Mall).
