I could be wrong but I don't think Taoism is based on just doing whatever people tell you to do. Taoism is just about "going with the flow;' lettings things be as they are. I'm not super familiar with it but I'd like to think that wouldn't include rolling over for a death cult that's going around killing folks by the millions.
