Probably something like the other early SNL stars: career fizzles out in the late 80s/early 90s, he either does or doesn't have a comeback, then it slows down again in the 2010s. On the other hand, Jim would have probably jumped off a building. i don't know, he seemed like a guy who didn't really go about letting himself be boxed in.
