I could possibly see him taking “Groundhog Day” because Ramis and Murray were having a squabble. Ramis said he almost chose Tom Hanks over Murray but didn’t think Hanks would be believable as the cynical version of Phil Conners. Perhaps Belushi could have?

He could've possibly a more realized variation of what perhaps Jackie Gleason tried to be.
