That doesn't seem very polite of you. I don't think so. He more or less drives the conversation. It would still be polite to thank the First Mover of all things for spending time with yourself. You might wish to point out next time if it happens that if He spoke to everyone in the same unambiguous way He might help belief in Him along quite a way.
