Affirmative. I did a LOTR EE marathon at home once... I think it took me from 9am to midnight with breaks & food.

ROTK's so called 'multiple endings' are required & significant after those 12 hours or whatever of film... especially since PJ considers them all essentially one long film. Can't just cut to Frodo one time after all that & quit.
