IF he accepts Christ as his savior, is redeemed and and has received the gift of eternal life, the Christian doctrine pretty much guarantees the guy will enter into the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of God. Since Christianity says Jesus died for the sins of mankind....ALL sins for ALL mankind and his blood washes away all sins, then that sin...his rape of that girl... has already been punished and the priest need not be punished for it. Not true, by Catholic teachings. That "get out jail free card" is a Protestant notion. SHAME ON THAT BISHOP. The Roman Catholic Church is waking up and taking back its Church. I admit I know little of the RCC doctrine. But...are you saying Catholics don't believe God can be forgive sin(s) and that folks who commit dreadful sins sins can never be redeemed? IOW, do Catholics believe there are some sins that are so bad...like doing what this priest did...that God simply would never forgive and accept them if they repented and accepted Christ's gift of salvation?
Is this site wrong?
