Is he naming the players in order, meaning whoever is #1 is the single best player in baseball history that isn't in the HOF? Or is it just a list of the top 100 in no particular order? If it's the former, I'll have to agree with millar up there re: Will Clark in relation to Buddy Bell. "This offseason, leading right up to the 2021 Baseball Hall of Fame announcement, we’re counting down the 100 greatest eligible players not in the Hall of Fame and ranking them in the order in which I would vote them in" - from the article header. Once again, this is Joe Posnarski's article. In his 60 greatest moments, he had Duane Kuiper's only HR at #2 and the end of A League of Their Own at #5. Lists like this are meant to be argued over and that's just what we are doing
