They didn't come across as a couple at all in JP if they were then they didn't really show that part of their relationship very well. Really good colleagues and friends who studied dinosaur bones together for years yes but other than that no. They were. There was even a romantic kiss cut from the Montana scene. And later Grant confirmed it to Malcolm before the Trex attack. I took that as more Alan gloating or lying than anything else he saw Malcolm as a rival. |
