Sorry to disappoint, but no tears on my part. Concern about what the Democrats will do to this country - yes. Temper tantrum - uh, no.
To clear up a few misconceptions that appear in this thread ...
1. My absence from this forum the last few months mostly has to do with the lack of anything fun to talk about. The Patriots currently suck and there are no movies to discuss. This whole NFL season feels somewhat - fake. Not worth spending much time on.
2. Being “incredulous” about what Klaw said concerning me and DC fan was due to it coming from someone who went so far as to make up a story about meeting DC fan at a gay bar. Sure, I enjoyed beating up on the guy when he said something profoundly stupid, but I drew the line way before entertaining obsessive fantasies with the guy.
3. I was posting on this forum months after DC fan got the boot. Lord knows he wasn’t the only idiot to smack around. In such a target rich environment, DC fan was just one pea in a pod.
Maybe after COVID passes and things return to normal, this forum will again be an amusing diversion. Particularly if Trump runs again in 2024!
Your absence surprises no-one. Talk all the shit you want while the Patriots are winning - things get hard and you lose all interest. What would the Patriots do without fans like you?
Uh, sure. “Browsing” back to a three year old thread. That’s a lot of “browsing”! Regardless, I still got a chuckle when I saw how it triggered you. Your story about browsing through three years of old posts (who does that?) and accidentally running across mine, right after the election, is just icing on the cake!
What. Your definition of a true fan is someone who talks “shit” when their team is losing? That’s my definition of a psycho fan. Not to worry, I still watch the games, looking for a glimmer of hope. I survived the early 90’s as a Pats fan. I’ll survive 2020. I think.
