Yes. Supposedly God is all powerful and even all knowing. But that doesn't mean he's intelligent or sensible. You can have extremely powerful people that are actually quite stupid (e.g. Donald Trump). So of course he can make mistakes. God even admits he fucked up when he created people, that’s why he supposedly wipe out the entire planet...though I have no idea what the Sioux in North Dakota did to piss him off so much they had to drown along with all the evil little Canaanite babies. Then he got all remorseful and said he’d never do again.
