Bills defeat Steelers 26-15. Nice win for the Bills and they are in great position in the AFC, the Bills defense played a great game tonight and Allen played well also, the Bills offense had a good second half. I like what the Bills have and I think they are probably the second best team in the AFC. The Steelers are struggling, they are missing some key defensive players due to injury and their offense is completely one dimensional, they have no rushing attack - while they are a talented team and can compete in the playoffs, they will have to establish some sort of rushing attack going forward, they should be healthier by the time the playoffs come around but I don’t have a lot of confidence in the Steelers right now
Eagles defeat Saints 24-21. Nice win for the Eagles in Hurts’ first start, they played probably their best game of the season, they ran the ball well and slowed down the Saints offense, I don’t think the Eagles will get a playoff spot, but who knows since the NFC East sucks and it’s a bizarre year. The Saints have a very good team but there’s no way they can compete in the playoffs without a healthy Brees, Hill simply cannot lead them on a playoff run.
Chiefs defeat Dolphins 33-27. Chiefs get the win despite Mahomes throwing for 3 INT’s, their offense still put up big numbers though and Kelce had another great game, I think the Chiefs are the NFL’s best team as they are loaded with talent. The Fins put up a great fight and have talent, their defense is very talented and forces a lot of TO’s, and I’ve been impressed by Tua so far, I think the Fins make the playoffs but I’m not sure how far they go.
Colts defeat Raiders 44-27. Colts with a big win that improves their standing in the playoff race, I really like what the Colts have, their defense is strong and Rivers is quietly having a good season, he played well today and their offense is heating up, I think the Colts can make a run in the playoffs. I’m not impressed by the Raiders, and I don’t think they will make the playoffs, I’m not sold on Carr as a strong QB, and the Raiders just seem to be lacking in some areas.
Buccaneers defeat Vikings 26-14. Bucs get a much needed win, with a solid performance on both sides of the ball. The Bucs are interesting, they have a lot of talent and if their offense fully clicks they could make a playoff run, but I’m not sure if it will. But they have a very talented team. The Vikings are decent, they are right on the outside looking in in regards to the playoffs, they could make it, but I don’t think they will, they have too many holes on defense and while Cousins has been playing better I still don’t exactly trust him.
Packers defeat Lions 31-24. Packers take over the #1 seed in the NFC with this win, Rodgers played another good game and the Packers remain a very good team, I like what they have and Rodgers is having a great season. The Lions are weak, they can never seem to get over the hump despite having some talent, maybe next year with a new coach they will improve.
Washington defeats 49ers 23-15. Washington takes the lead in the NFC East with this win, their defense played very well and I think they are the favorite to win the NFC East, I like their defense and I think their offense is decent. The Niners have just had too many injuries to make the playoffs this season, they are still a good team and they should be better and healthier next season.
Bears defeat Texans 36-7. Big win by the Bears, Trubisky played well, and the Bears got the win, I don’t see the Bears making the playoffs, they just aren’t good enough on offense IMO, and I wonder where they go next year regarding the QB position, but they have some talent and their defense is solid. The Texans got destroyed, they’ve had a bad season but they should improve next year as they are more talented than their record indicates and a new coach should bring new life to them.
Cardinals defeat Giants 26-7. Cards with a big win to get them back in a playoff spot for now, I like what they have and I think they are a talented team on both sides of the ball, they just need to play with more consistency, today they dominated the Giants. The Giants turned in a lifeless performance despite Jones returning, and while the Giants are right in contention for the NFC East Title I don’t think they will get it, they have too many holes IMO.
Chargers defeat Falcons 20-17. Chargers finally win a close game and the Falcons suffer another tough loss. The Chargers have some talent and are better than their record indicates, but I do wonder if Lynn keeps his job after this season. The Falcons are just struggling and I’m not sure if Morris will keep the job or not, but the Falcons have to find ways to win games and improve on defense.
Seahawks defeat Jets 40-3. Seahawks destroy the god awful Jets, and the Seahawks are an interesting team, their defense has played much better lately but Wilson’s play has slacked off, if both the offense and defense can have good games at the same time the Seahawks will be a very strong team, but I’m not sure if that will happen. The Jets will likely go 0-16, they are abysmal, and they will get Trevor Lawrence in the draft.
Titans defeat Jaguars 31-10. Titans with a dominant win, Henry with a great game, they have a very good team on both sides of the ball, and I think they could make a playoff run if Tannehill plays well and they are a strong team. The Jags suck, they will likely get the #2 pick in the draft, they are rebuilding and will get a new QB.
Cowboys defeat Bengals 30-7. Cowboys get a win but I don’t see them winning the lousy NFC East, their defense is too weak and they’ve underperformed all season, but they aren’t out of it yet. The Bengals are trash without Burrow and need to rebuild their defense.
Broncos defeat Panthers 32-27. Broncos get a decent road win, but neither of these teams have quite enough talent to make the playoffs, the Broncos have had too many injuries while the Panthers aren’t good enough on defense and have had injuries as well.
