Yet this year they don't seem to benefit from being in a weak division? Yet last year the Saints were in a division with 3 sub .500 teams. New England's division opponents actuality finished with more wins than the Saints' division opponents. The year before that? Saints were in a division with 3 sub. 500 teams. Remind us how the Saints benefitted from their weak division in 2018 and 2019. I don't have to. You see it. That's why they farted out of the playoffs 3 years in a row. So is it results based? If you are a bad team, and your team makes the playoffs and shits the bed, was it your poor division that helped you make the playoffs, or shit the bed? And if you're a good team, and your team makes the playoffs and goes to the superbowl, was it your poor division that helped you make the superbowl? What about those years when the Patriots division opponents have good records? Is that still considered a weak division? 2019? 2017? 2016? 2015? 2014? 2013? All those years there were 3 or 4 other divisions where the division winners had easier divisions than the Patriots.
