Mario Lemieux coming back from Hodgkin's Lymphoma to lead the NHL with 160 points in just 60 games, which is fucking nuts.

Rocky Balboa overcoming what I believe was a brain aneurysm of some sort to best then heavyweight champ Tommy "The Machine" Gunn. My favorite part of this was afterwards when Gunn gets arrested, but Balboa gets a free pass. I guess winning the fight absolves him of the litany of crimes he commits during that final sequence.
