Cleveland Indians to change name

None of these teams selected their name to insult, ridicule or denigrate native Americans. Quite the opposite. But as we (as a society) continue to “evolve” into a bunch of easily offended panty-waists, should any reference to the original occupants of this land be permitted? After we have erased them from our sports, where should we turn next? Just a few years ago if anyone said that the name “Indians” is offensive, they would have been scoffed at. But we have “progressed” to the point where that is now the case. It’s not hard to imagine this trend continuing to the point where we are eliminating Indian names from everything. Only then will all those whinny snowflakes feel safe ... until they dream up the next thing to get triggered over.

You can’t say “Indians”!
It’s now the I-word.
