They went from living in teepees with no electricity, medicine, or law and order. To living in white man style homes with electricity, full access to modern medical care, and fully imposed law and order.

Don't be stupid. How well do you think the Egyptian Empire, the Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire, and the Ming Dynasty treated the countries and nations they defeated in war?
