I'm sure they can monitor those who use offensive words, but that wouldn't completely solve the problem.

For example, GREY'S ANATOMY and STATION 19 have gotten many negative reviews on IMDB lately due to recent storylines involving COVID and police brutality (and I'm sure the same would happen on Netflix). Some of these users don't use slurs or swear words, but they still don't justify the low grade they're giving it. They don't have to write several paragraphs of analysis, but 1 or 2 sentences that don't really reflect what each episode is like as a whole? Not to mention those who clearly create new accounts just to write the same thing more than once.

Granted, a stand-up special doesn't require many angles. It mainly comes down to finding the routine funny or not.
