These are the only real reasons why Pederson would have put Sudfeld in at that point:
1. Hurts is the future, didn’t want to risk a serious injury.
2. Hurts will be traded before the draft, didn’t want to risk a serious injury.
3. The Eagles wanted to draft at 6 vs 9.
All are legit reasons. They don’t owe the Giants or Cowboys shit. Handle your own business and you won’t have to depend on another team, a 4-win team at that.
