Hollywood is probably rather happy about that, imagine not having to pay for obscenly high actor salaries anymore. How much did Jim Carrey make in his prime, like $20 million per film? Well, ppl like RDJ can still go for %'s, potentially costing studios even more. I think the 21st century film stars are the directors. Nolan, Scorsese, Cameron, Joon-ho, Cuaron, etc. A director's name on a project/teaser seems to have far more impact than anyone else's.
