You know what it reminds me of folks -
Let's say you're married
You're a boozer, you cheat on her constantly, you're lazy around the house and don't lift a finger, and you'll never do anything with her socially
She then leaves you for a guy who doesn't drink, he's faithful to her, he's pretty handy and fixes things around the house, and he's up for new adventures in life
You then walk around like a martyr like you're the victim - blaming her for leaving
