Wow. And I thought I had it bad yesterday! LOL
I'm also working remotely. To make calls thru my laptop, I have to log in to Cisco Jabber.
At the trail end of Thursday (New Year's Eve), I got kicked off of Jabber. I figured it was a sign for me to exit. 
Nope - couldn't get on to it yesterday. Was down for the majority of yesterday. That is, I couldn't take inbound calls or make outbound calls to clients.
Luckily, I didn't have a lot of clients to get in touch with via phone. What ones I did - I called on my personal cell.
Back up and running with Jabber this morning. All good!

It's so annoying. All this stuff I had taken home to work on is just sitting there. I'm hoping the printer/copier/scanner elves come while we're asleep tonight and fix it. In the meantime, I have a 4:00 PM call with our Controller. All I've been able to do is emails and pulling stuff off secure websites.
