A local restaurant bears the simple name of what it serves: Vegan Pizza. It's a slight understatement, because everything they serve is vegan--including absolutely luscious desserts. I am not a strict vegetarian (not yet, anyway), but I love this place, because I love pizza--which I can't ordinarily eat because of the cheese; I am allergic to dairy products. However, VP uses dairy-free "cheeze" along with plant-based "meat", and the results are truly yummy.
Every few weeks, we get two medium "Meat-Lovers" pizzas (with plant-based meat substitutes as toppings), and enjoy the first few slices, usually with a green salad, for dinner. Then, for the next few days, we have wonderful leftover vegan pizza--from Vegan Pizza, lol--for lunch.
