A company computer sounds terrible. I'm so glad I can just do a remote connection to my office computer with my home one. Plus it means I can screw around outside the remote connection without them being able to spy on me I like the fact that I don't have to: 1. Use my personal computer to log in via VPN 2. Don't have to lug a laptop back and forth. The company-issued laptop stays at my house. 3. They aren't able to "spy on me".  They have full access to the machine though. If I want to just cl minimize the remote connection window on mine and watch 3 hours of tentacle porn they've got no way of knowing. With a company machine I'd have to do that on a whole separate computer.
