I've personally always been good at trivia and testing but it's not an indication of intelligence. Even if I am not familiar with a topic, I have a good chance of guessing my way through it by eliminating clearly erroneous picks.
Part of it was process of elimination and I would include that in intelligence.
I would have gotten many of the answers wrong had there not been choices.
