I’ve got news for you, chum. The 70 million “people who support the police” and voted for Trump do not condone this incident. The desire that the participants be held accountable is widespread. I have yet to find a right-wing source that’s has not condemned it, in no uncertain terms. That is the difference between the Right and the Left. We shun our extremists. They are an embarrassment. The Left embraces them.

You immediately went on the defensive for something that is indefensible. "The left also raided the capitol once. Nobody died, no pipe bombs were left, but clearly it was just as bad." You went from deflection to denial, "We don't know who killed that guy, maybe it was Antifa!" It's equal parts predictably hilarious and pathetic. You're just pissed that somebody isn't letting you sell your bullshit story.

There is nothing dishonest about my argument. People died, including a police officer. Pipe bombs were left as threats. You don't know everything about every fire that was started during BLM protests, what's the difference? Enough with the ridiculous denials already. "The most violent thing I saw were people kicking in a door." I guess I'm more familiar with violence than you are. Because those people were fired on by an armed guard, pretty violent. Officers getting their masks ripped off or crushed by the mob while screaming for help, pretty violent. And I know you're allergic to context, but let's apply some here anyway. Those people kicking in the door, after asking the officers to move because, "We don't want to hurt you," I wonder what they would've done if they didn't move? I wonder if this was before or after the other officer had been killed?

People were chanting for the execution of the Vice President and still you insist there's nothing to see here, it's truly incredible.

Then the 'right' needs a better representative on this board, because all you're doing is defending them. Stop pretending this wasn't a terrorist act and stop comparing it to women yelling about Brett Kavanaugh. These two things are not comparable. You started this conversation with that argument, and it was as ridiculous then as it is now.

You both do, this conversation proves it. I'm a centrist and I was against the rioting last year and against viewing police as a whole as villains. These conversations were done to death last year, and the right wing kooks always had the same rhetoric of law and order, supporting the police and the republic, and insisting the 'radical left' was the real threat. Wednesday's events PROVED extremism has taken over the right. You can't argue that with me when the sitting president personally convinced those people to riot! Is the President not the face of the party?

Enough with the hypocrisy and the bullshit.
