Not only were both PG-13 animated movies* that star SNL alumni (Chris Rock, Bill Murray, Molly Shannon, Chris Elliot, Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Kevin Nealon, Jon Lovitz) were animated by A. Film Production A/S and Yowza! Animation and share the same storyboard artist, Steve Fonti. That’s why they both have that same animation style.
*Osmosis Jones was originally PG-13. They just had some scenes deleted but I consider it to be in spirit.
