I always liked Björn. Of Ragnar's son it was him and Ubbe.
Ivar is a coward, and not half as brilliant as Hirst try to sell him. Without foreign troops he has never won a battle or war.
And that he could sneak close to Björn to set the killing blow - ridiculous.
And drug boy Hvitzerg: Ivar burned your future wife alive, it haunted you, made you an addict, and what do you do: become his pet again.
Björn and Ubbe treated him always way better than Ivar, but he always returned to Ivar till there was no point of return (after the murder of Lagertha). Aside from some sort of Stockholm syndrome there is no logic writing point that explains such a behavior.
Björn's dead is an even bigger foul.
I thought it was some vision or dream sequence, but they really went for it...unbelievable!
With Björn's departure, the show has come to an end for me.
Ubbe and Floki are the only characters I half way care for.
But what I did was to check if Ivar and Oleg meet their just faith e.g. a most gruesome death.
I will not watch the rest of this dreck and waste five hours or so of my live. What a train wreck this show has become. Just because to turn Ivar into what...an Über Ragnar? It totally backfired.
"The Last Kingdom" is it for me.
