BS, they built their fame off of Kim's sex tape. No one actually cared about the Kardashian kids after that trial. They didn't get really famous until that other no-talent Ryan Seacrest made a show about them. Then for some reason, millions of people found them fascinating. Blame social media and "reality TV." It has made a lot of people famous for being famous.

Plenty of people make sex tapes. The name and its association with LA's elite West Side community is what made it infamous. And that name Kardashian was made famous by the Simpson trial. Otherwise no one would have cared.
