The Quick and the Dead (1995)

I had this on vhs back right after it came out and i used to watch it a ton as a kid. It was one of 'my' movies, you know? So ive always had a soft spot for it and even tho it feels like its been a while since i watched it nothing has changed. Every stereotypical archetype in a western seems present here and they all shine in their own way. I also noticed more actors this time than i ever have...like i never realized Mark Boone Junior (of Batman Begins and Sons of Anarchy fame) played Scars. Even knowing it was him he was barely recognizable without his typical mane of hair. I also never noticed Woody Strode (black guy from the beginning of Once upon a time in the west) as the undertaker. But Gene Hackman is particularly on his game here. So much presence from that man even in the middle of so many other names. 

Also...i watched it on hulu and it had a scene ive never seen before where the Lady and Cort have sex...theres even a boob shot from Sharon Stone. I know FOR A FACT ive never seen that scene before. I can see why they got rid of it tho since it doesn't make much sense in the context of the story...with Cort being a prisoner and all. Still...1995 Sharon Stone bewbs!
