Everything after B is just piggybacking and is muddying the waters even more regarding a straight forward sexuality. Asexual is away from sexuality too and I’d say many who choose to identify as this, have really just given up on a partnership, it’s not that they don’t not have sexual feelings or even feelings of human attraction. What are they then? It’s a fallacy. I can accept the 'T' because transgender have historically aligned with gay people. I mean, we're the ones who like drag shows. So they need a place to go and we might as well carry them as we have for thousands of years in one way or another.
But my understanding of asexual is that they have a normal sex drive but just aren't attracted to anybody. So I agree with you. It's a fallacy. Or maybe there's some alien race out there that they'll find attractive but haven't met them yet. It sounds to me like narcissism in the extreme. I believe T is what has started to create the confusion over sexuality. Theirs’ is born out of confusion of gender which is not embracing the physical aspect of sameness. If anything, it is more steeped in narcissism than A.
