AIM might be behind this. I think the guy in the beekeeper suit at the end of episode 2 is a hint towards that.
The symbol on his beekeeper uniform is that of S.W.O.R.D.
I thought it looked familiar so I broke and looked it up. With the meaning changed from Sentient World Observation and Response Department to Sentient Weapon Observation and Response Department according to a few websites that got the info off of Rambeu's new tradding cards for the show.
