Hard to believe it's been 25 years already. I saw it once years ago. I thought it was watchable and entertaining enough, but nothing spectacular (Salma Hayek and her body being the exceptions of course). Leonard Maltin Movie Guide Review: From Dusk Till Dawn - 2 out of 4 stars
"Two out-of-control criminal brothers mow their way through Texas, heading for a rendezvous in Mexico, and take a family (and their RV) hostage. But the rendezvous location turns out to be a hellish bar inhabited by vampires! Indefensible trash certainly works on a visceral level; how much you can take will depend on your G.Q. (grossout quotient). Rodriguez and screenwriter/actor Tarantino seem to be having fun, especially in their casting choices, but this is just a celebration of excess. In fact, it might be retitled NATURAL BORN VAMPIRES. Followed by two direct-to-video sequels."
