A Beautiful Mind and Batman & Robin were written by the same guy. Speaking of Batman & Robin and extreme change in tone and subject matter, Joel Schumacher followed up that movie with 8MM. What I find funny is that he'd made a pretty grounded and intelligent movie about a vigilante right before his Batman with Falling Down. Cut to batnipples and "I'll get drive thru".
