Expanding on what PreachCaleb said, he had also assisted Thanos in wiping out half the Asgardian race as well as Xandar. So he'd already been an accomplice to mass murder on a huge scale, I don't think anyone should have a problem with Peter having no remorse in wanting to blast his ass out the airlock, so to speak.
