In the 1980s Song of the South was shown in theaters again. I don't remember Mr. T complaining.

I remember that re-release of Song Of The South very well, I was about 12 at the time. Me and a friend went to go see it, but we were actually more interested in sneaking in another theater to see the re-release of the R-rated Slap Shot. We tried a few times to sneak in but we couldn't. I think we were being watched closely the whole time by the ushers. Ah, childhood memories!
