I live in a pair of soft, stretchy Brooks sneakers with orthotic inserts, lol My, how times have changed. how were you fitted for the inserts? I don't understand . does one go to a podiatrist? I walk on the outside of my feet. I know I need them. thanks autumn! My insurance covers me going to an orthotist. They fit my foot into these little blue foam boxes, one for each foot. They get custom made, and they decide what materials to put in, and whether to make them full length (I recommend that) or 3/4. I've worn them for many years, in part because I broke my foot as a child, but was determined to be a rapscallion and not sit still. I swear by them.
