About 20 years ago, I jettisoned all high heels ... I want to live. Since then I have to admit that I have slightly overdone buying pairs of "cute" flats, and cushion-soled shoes.
I say "overdone," because I spend 90% of my waking hours in New Balance cross trainers. I have to buy those online, because 6 1/2 is a nearly-impossible size to find in stores, around here.
The other shoes that I have bought aren't fancy. I have purchased a few at Sketchers. I found some at Payless. And, when Macy's closed at my favorite mall, I got a great buy for 3 pairs of "fancy" shoes.
I think I'm set, for life.
