So, there must be some movie, that made him want to see more movies... since he did say, he saw the other two Meet/Focker films too...

Yes, but that wouldn't qualify for someone who doesn't watch many movies is my point. They wouldn't really see it as a path to becoming a movie lover, because they aren't a "movie buff." They just love some movies. There is a distinction imo.

I don't think that is the case for anyone using Film General on a movie website though.
