Not a big fan of them. My dad got one back in 1931, said it was the biggest mistake he had made in the corporate world. When I see people with sleeves,legs or back and chest pieces from 6 feet and beyond they look like huge smudges. Yeah. I fully agree with you.
So yiour father got one in 1931??? Holy damn... That was way before World War 2 and only 2 years after the Crash.
Why did your father got one? Did he get it in the military?
Too young for World War I and too old for WW II. Although he and a few of his pilot friends tried to join up with the Flying Tigers. The US Government wouldn't let them go because they all worked in Defense Plants. He never told me why he got the Tat. It wasn't that big but it was on his forearm and it was of the American Flag.
