Well, if you don't give a rusty fuck how much me makes then you shouldn't wonder why he tends to steer himself into big budget movies in the first place. And can you tell me what films you would like him doing more of that wouldn't sound tedious please? Is it the lack of period dramas on his CV that has you all concerned about his future prospects? And the Guest wasn't exactly the height of cinematic sophistication either in fact it was pretty stupid. I wasn't wondering why he's making big budget schlock in the first place, second place, or any place. Who said anything about period dramas? If I said I'd like more movies like The Guest, maybe I'd like more movies like The Guest? The Guest was as schlock and as stupid as it gets it was dumb fun. A family letting in some random serial killing stranger into their home who claims to have been friends with their dead son is certainly not the kind of film that I'd expect someone putting down "big budget schlock" to like. |
