Blade Runner - probably the greatest noirish sci-fi movie that's been made - 10/10
G.I. Jane - a female Navy Lieutenant trains for Recon Special Forces . Over the top but is well done . 9/10
Kingdom Of Heaven - Crusader Epic - very moody and dark in places but a great adventure story . 9/10
Gladiator -improved on crusader epic , and had a well rounded although dark action adventure . 9/10
Robin Hood - improved on Kingdom of Heaven , presenting a neo-traditional realistic adventure . 9/10
Black Hawk Down - always underrated and seems a little slow , but well made realistic depiction . 8/10
The Martian - a good tale about a disaster on mars , but every studio wants to make these today . 8/10
Prometheus - well made scifi thriller , but a little too dark for me . 8/10
Black Rain - typical American cop in a showdown with the Yakuza (Mafia) in Japan . Has it's place . 8/10
Alien - never appealed to me in any way
