Oh, Lordy! Getting a tan. I was never successful at that but I did manage a couple of very bad sun burns in high school, one which required me to leave school early because it was making me sick. After growing up in south Texas and basking in a lot of sun light without protection, I'm lucky I haven't been eaten up by skin cancer.
