Because makeup and prosthetics done proper looks fantastic and it's actually there. There's a reason why Lord of Darkness looks better than either version Steppenwolf we've seen so far. Can you post the Lord of darkness photos so we can compare? And don't you like Thanos? He is not a tall guy in make up and THANK FUCK FOR THAT! Now, this is a picture of Steppenwolf from Snyder’s cut that looks great to me. With the full armor on. I have no problem with this CGI
