Anyone Know About This Change Coming To (All?) Phone Users?

Agreed.......and how is it that they were able to implement the '911' three-digit emergency number nationwide, without having to make a change like this, but adding another three-digit number ('988' for the new National Suicide Prevention line) to the system NOW requires everybody to use an area code on ALL their local calls ??
