If Belichick paid enough to someone to deflate the balls & keep mum about it, how does one prove it?
The investigator would try to prove it by examining at bank records or any other evidence of a payout. That's how investigators reach their findings - by examining evidence. And that's what the independent and unbiased investigation team did. They examined the evidence objectively and independent of the NFL and they couldn't find evidence implicating Belichick, but they found plenty of evidence proving Brady's guilt.
Even 1 of the judges on the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals who heard the hearing said on the record in open court that "the evidence of ball tampering is compelling". zoilus claims that the NFL and Ted Wells (whom Robert Kraft himself praised for his independence and integrity when he was hired to conduct the independent investigation) and Professor Marlow (a Physics Professor and former Chairman of the Department of Physics at Princeton University) all conspired against Brady, but there's just no way that zoilus or anyone else can claim that an unbiased federal appellate court judge who swore an oath to review evidence objectively and without bias was also part of a conspiracy with people whom he had never met before and to what end? What reason would an unbiased federal appellate court judge who has no affiliation with the NFL have to conspire against Brady? Like I said before, zoilus' arguments are weak and make no sense at all.
