If a bunch of ladies want to get together to celebrate the first female-led superhero film, more power to them. Supergirl, Elektra and Catwoman are sitting around somewhere angry you said that. Even Lara Croft is like "What the hell?"* Wonder Woman is not the 1st female-led superhero movie. It is, however, a movie about one of the 1st female led superhero comics. *It was a comic before the movies.  Elektra and Catwoman are a bit of a stretch, I consider them to be in the villain to anti-hero spectrum. Considering the poor production, extremely negative reviews and abysmal box office of Supergirl, you'll forgive me if I avail myself of a little selective amnesia. |
