"That" scene gets me every time. I mean EVERY time !
Thanks to London's link, I see that the Trumpet and Trombone player actually start the piece off together.
Shall have to think on the idea of "war of music" but right now, I believe that you are probably correct. In any case, the one in this film must be the BEST.
